 System-wide Changes
Key improvements in eBOARD overall include a new search capability making it easier for the public, board, or staff to find information on the site or on other eBOARD sites in their states. The new text editor will enable quicker input of information across all modules. Improvements have also been made to the overall graphic design, user interface and speed.

 Changes in Strategic Plan Module
Strategic planning is critical for any organization to successfully achieve its mission. Often organizations go through an elaborate strategic planning process only to find that the bigger challenge is in the execution of the plan. With eBOARD’s Strategic Plan Module, organizations can effectively communicate plans to all stakeholders and allow employees to focus on their areas of responsibility while understanding how their work fits into the overall plan. Using this web-based tool monitoring, tracking, managing and reporting on strategic plans has never been easier.
You are probably aware that the eBOARD Strategic Plan Module was released in 2009. Since this time, we’ve been pleasantly surprised at how many districts are using this new tool not only for managing your District Strategic Plan but also other plans including local school improvement plans. With eBOARD 3.0, we’ve listened to your feedback and feel that these new features will allow you more flexibility in creating, managing and reporting on all of the plans in your district.

- Rearrange sequence of fields for each plan type
- Added editing permissions for Performance Measures
- Plan Setup: Ability to edit field names and what is displayed in the Who are We? and Where are We Now? sections.

While eBOARD’s Meetings Module was originally conceived to let school board meeting agendas become paperless and searchable, subscribers have recognized that they can manage multiple Meeting types like Cabinet Meetings, School Council Meetings and other regularly-held meetings in your district and local schools.
With this in mind, the eBOARDsolutions team has added several new features to the Meetings Module that will allow you to maximize your subscription to allow more people in your district to take advantage this web-based tool.

We are excited to share with you some of the new functionality available in the eBOARD 3.0 Communications Module. As you know the Communications module encompasses many areas of your site including About the Board, News, Calendar, Resources and more.
Many of your are starting to use eBOARD to support more than just the school board. So we’ve been listening to your feedback and are making it easier to use the Communications Module for a variety of news types and calendars managed by different people in your organization.
